Members of the Seattle Baroque Orchestra and Auburn Symphony join forces to revive the Concerto for Harpsichord by Philip Glass. Premiered in Seattle by the Northwest Chamber Orchestra and harpsichord soloist Jillon Stoppels Dupree in 2002, Dupree returns to the stage for this 20th anniversary performance. In a move away from minimalism, Glass embraces Baroque form and structure in this concerto, revived with support from Diana Carey, who also sponsored its premiere. The second half of the program features Seattle Baroque Orchestra concertmaster Rachell Ellen Wong in a solo concerto.
