Wade Davis Meets SHAK

Visiting artist Wade Davis leads members of the Seattle Historical Arts for Kids community in consort music for violas da gamba. Directed by founder Shulamit Kleinerman, Seattle Historical Arts for Kids (SHAK) is a place where young people gain community, skill, and an insiders’ experience of past eras through music and related arts. Introducing children and teens to participatory 12th-18th century music, dance, and theater since 2005, SHAK presents year-round instrumental chamber music, annual theatrical projects, and a variety of performing and non-performing historical arts workshops.
