Based in the Pacific Northwest, Srivani Jade has led an illustrious career as an Indian Hindustani Classical Vocalist, composer and educator. She is a captivating performer, and story-teller of the tradition she represents. Her singing is a celebration of her life and journey. Ms. Jade and her ensemble will present a one-hour demonstration of Hindustani Classical Music, its theory and practice, for members of the Seattle Youth Symphony Orchestra.
