A weekend workshop opportunity for early music singers… What was it like to sing with others during the medieval and Renaissance eras?!  Here’s a chance to try it out yourself….  Registration is requested.

This workshop, led by Pat Rice and Anne Lyman, will cover the following topics:

  • A brief history of music notation from 900 to 1600
  • Instruction on reading 14th and 15th century mensural white notation
  • Singing sacred and secular music from partbook and choir book format
  • All necessary music will be provided
