Early Music Seattle Values Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion
Early Music Seattle is interested in understanding the issues surrounding justice in the arts. To that end we have commissioned and shared articles and videos that explore diversity, equity and inclusion in the arts. We have gone further to build partnerships that create artistic works that promote trust and understanding between BIPOC artists and the Early Music Seattle staff and board of directors. Early Music Seattle has a long way to go in order to respectfully represent the world’s ancient traditions in its programs and leadership, but the journey has begun.
