Trio Sonho

Trio Sonho is a Seattle-based music ensemble brought together by their shared passion for Brazilian music, particularly bossa nova, samba and MPB.  Vocalist Emy Tseng has performed at jazz venues and festivals throughout the U.S. Her debut album,  Sonho, earned critical praise from national jazz critics and was released in Japan.  Stuart Zobel is a guitarist and composer who focuses on Brazilian choro and Argentinian tango. Stuart has taught workshops and classes throughout the West including Berkeley Choro Festival and Seattle Symphony’s Soundbridge Music Discovery Center.  Carole Peterson is a percussionist who is a long time member of the Seattle percussion group  VamoLá.  Carole has studied percussion in Brazil and at California Brazil Camp.
