Giuliana Leto

Mezzo-Soprano, Giuliana Leto, native to New York, is a fourth-year Undergraduate student at The Juilliard School, where she studies voice with Kevin Short. This fall, Leto appeared as Cherubino in Saverio Mercadante’s I due Figaro. This season Leto was selected to participate in the 2026 NYFOS@Juilliard concert titled “100 Years of Broadway Love” and an international exchange program with the Royal Irish Academy of Music. Leto appeared in Dialogues des Carmélites and Le Nozze di Figaro this past year at The Juilliard School. Leto has emerged as Giulio Cesare in George F. Händel’s Giulio Cesare at the Fondazione Scuola di Alto Perfezionamento Musicale in Saluzzo, Italy, Bard 2 in the Odyssey: A Youth Opera at the Avon Performance Pavilion in Colorado, as well as the “Cat” in the children’s opera Brundibar. Leto has also appeared as The Major General in The Pirates of Penzance at Fiorello H. LaGuardia High School of Music & Art and Performing Arts. Besides her operatic roles, Leto has been seen in the Vocal Arts Cabaret and Dr. Lydia Brown’s liederabend at The Juilliard School. Leto has performed with the National Children’s Chorus in the Scholars division and has soloed at Lincoln Center, Carnegie Hall, Wiener Musikverein in Vienna, Berlin Wall and the Garden of Reconciliation, Germany.
