Felipe was born in Bauru, São Paulo, and was immersed in the world of music from an early age.
At the age of six, he began his musical studies in the local church, later joining projects such as the Municipal Symphonic Band and Orchestra of Bauru, where he began to stand out.
At fifteen, he entered the Conservatório de Tatuí under the guidance of Graziela Pagotto. After moving to São Paulo, he studied with renowned violinists such as Emmanuele Baldini and Cláudio Cruz, while also participating in major festivals that shaped his artistic path. In 2019, he had a formative experience at the Ilumina festival, where he returned in 2024 as a featured solo artist. Among his accolades are the First Prize in the Young Soloists Competition of the São Paulo State Youth Orchestra and the Eleazar de Carvalho Prize in 2023.
Felipe has collaborated with the Minas Gerais Philharmonic and the São Paulo Symphony Orchestra (OSESP), and is a member of both the Aporá Quartet and the Duo Desconcerto, projects through which he delves into Brazilian Popular Music and Jazz—musical languages that have always been intertwined with his classical foundation. His artistic identity embraces both the precision of classical music and the freedom of improvisation, reflecting a contemporary and fluid approach to violin performance.
He has had the privilege of working with artists such as Hamilton de Holanda, André Mehmari, Boris Brovtsyn, Liza Ferschtman, Yura Lee, Edmundo Carneiro, Leo Rodrigues, Cristian Budu, Jennifer Stumm, Hartmut Rohde, Tai Murray, among others. His performances have taken him to some of the world’s most prestigious concert halls, including the Concertgebouw in Amsterdam, the Musikverein in Vienna, and Wigmore Hall in London.
Felipe is currently pursuing his studies at the Musik und Kunst Privatuniversität der Stadt Wien under the mentorship of Boris Brovtsyn. He is developing a body of work that unites the classical and jazz traditions, and is currently preparing a series of solo performances that explore this fusion. These concerts are scheduled to take place in Vienna, London, Berlin, the United States, and Brazil.
